How We Got Here: Tracy and Carissa
Encompass Sensory Boxes LLC was founded in 2022 with a mission to extend support to children experiencing mental health challenges, as well as the families and educators working to help them. Backed by over 30 years of combined experience in the field, we are deeply committed to building knowledge and skills around emotional regulation for both children and caregivers.
Our team has worked extensively in the Oshkosh Area School District within specialized programs supporting students with emotional and behavioral disabilities, trauma, autism, intellectual disabilities, and learning disabilities. Our experience also includes working in the crisis center for Oshkosh Human Services, consulting with the Boys and Girls Club, and presenting with the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh to prepare future teachers and counselors.
